Relocation

The law in West Virginia sets forth that if a parent seeks to relocate to a distance that would affect the current parenting plan, custody arrangement, or visitation schedule, that that parent must give the other parent notice of the relocation and the proposed new plan, schedule or arrangement. The Webb Law Firm represents both parents who are seeking to relocate with their children or those seeking to relocation without their children, and those who are resisting the relocation by a parent who has primary custody of the child or those who do not. This is a specialized area of the law which requires experienced and knowledgeable counsel.

Mr. Webb has served as a State Legislator for eight years and while a State Legislator presided over laws which affect the relocation law in West Virginia. Mr. Webb also has twenty years of dealing with parents who desire to relocate and representing parents who object to the relocation of another parent with the child or children. Do not trust your case with inexperienced counsel. If you desire to relocate to a location that will impact a parenting plan, custody arrangement or visitation schedule, or you are a parent who desires to stop such a relocation, you should contact Rusty Webb
